Cupcakes for Kenya

Karen Firestone and her daughter Jemima showed that charity can extend far beyond the home when they brought together a team of 33 kids and 6 adults into the kitchen to bake for needy children in Kenya.

They ended up baking, icing, boxing and selling around 50 dozen cupcakes and raised over $2,200 for St Catherine’s Mukuru school in Kenya. This money was used to buy much-needed books and school uniforms for their students.
